BrainRush collects only the information necessary to provide the service: a display name, grade level, school affiliation, and gameplay data (scores, XP, streaks). We do not collect email addresses, phone numbers, or social media accounts. Students log in using a Student ID and PIN — no personal contact information is required.
Collected data is used solely to: display student progress and rankings, enable competitive features (leaderboards), send engagement notifications if permitted, and generate performance reports for schools. We never sell or share data with third parties for advertising or any other commercial purpose.
BrainRush is designed for school-age children, including children under 13. We are fully compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). We do not collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent or school authorization. No advertising is displayed to students. No personal data is sold or shared with third parties. Parents or guardians may request access to, correction of, or deletion of their child's data at any time by contacting us at privacy@brainrush.app.
All data is stored securely using Firebase (Google Cloud) infrastructure with industry-standard encryption. Data is processed and stored in accordance with Google's security and privacy standards. We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data against unauthorized access.
We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to third parties for any purpose, including advertising, profiling, or marketing. Any data shared with service providers (such as Firebase) is strictly for the purpose of operating the BrainRush platform.
Student accounts and progress data are retained for the duration of the subscription and for a reasonable period after expiration (so students can renew and continue). Data can be permanently deleted upon request.
